Professional waste water treatment for hospitals, plants, recycling plants and more. The machine uses a screw extrusion as its main driving mechanism to process sewage and sludge water. This solid-liquid separation device reaches new heights in terms of waste water treatment, and by changing the screw diameter and distance, even greater separation can be achieved.

 

Working Principle

The main mechanism of the Sludge Dewatering Press is made up of multiple fixed & movable annular plates with the screw shaft running through them. The front of the machine is where the thickening compartment is located and at the very end is where the dewatering compartment is located. The machine both thickens and dewaters sludge in one process, which means it has replaced traditional filtering screens as well as centrifugal filtration methods.

Dewatering Principle

After having been thickened up in the thickening compartment, the sludge is transported to the dewatering compartment. During this process, high pressure is produced because the gradual decrease in filter space and screw distance cause the back plate to be clogged. As the volume decreases, the effect of dewatering is achieved.
